S Nicolas choir welcomes new singers

Prior to the installation of the new organ, we were delighted to receive a donation of a significant amount of choral music which will form a wonderful foundation for the development of our presently small but committed choir. We are now looking for new singers in all parts to swell our presently limited ranks so we can make good use of it to enhance our worship. We presently rehearse from 3.30 to 4.30 p.m. most Fridays, though rehearsal time can be revisited as we grow. We sing at the Sunday Sung Eucharist at 11.30 a.m. and at Major Festivals. Our Anglo-Catholic worship is Eucharistic in nature based on the Book of Common Prayer. Incense is used sparingly. The obligation is not a heavy one and can be tailored to take into account availability of singers. As we develop we aim to incorporate music from Plainchant to the present day. Why not have a look at https://www.pevenseyparish.org for more information or contact Victor for a without commitment chat! We are looking for willingness to learn and voices which will blend with the group.
